New York, New York, December 28, 2008 – - Children’s book Author, Tanille Edwards will be featured at the Kwanzaa Fest -- on Sunday, December 28, 2008, at the American Museum of Natural History in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life section. Tanille will present “KIDS Go Green Too… a storytelling session and book signing at the New York City annual Kwanzaa event, produced by Harlem Arts Alliance. Kwanzaa Fest, which features a one day - all day event of continuous performances, celebrating the spirit of Kwanzaa, is based on the African American holiday founded by Dr. Maulana Karenga. Kwanzaa is now celebrated annually around the world, from December 26 through January 1st. The celebration is centered around recognition of seven Kwanzaa principles that inspire children and their families, while promoting cultural values.

The spectacular live performances at Kwanzaa Fest and the grand internationally inspired marketplace are like no other event in the metropolitan area, featuring world famous artists of music, dance, fashion and literature; along with uniquely produced crafts created by skilled artisans.

The Children’s book “Jordan & Justine’s Weekend Adventures™: Go Go Green” is expected to be a big hit at the Kwanzaa Festival. Since so many people attend as families with children and because it is the first children’s book of any kind to approach the global warming affects of the environment by presenting children with Go Green activities, in a playful bilingual format, many speculate that as a result of Kids Go Green experience children will gain an insightful understanding of the concept of going green. An extraordinary teaching tool, Go Go Green introduces “Green” vocabulary in English and in Spanish, along with scientific facts about the ozone layer, hybrid cars, atmospheric pollution and more; targeted to children ages 7 to 9. Parents and teachers who read Go Go Green will learn from the useful and proven facts about our global quest, as well.

In a storytelling format Author Tanille will present ways on how children can help save the environment and will sign her new book. The exact title of the book is “Jordan & Justine’s Weekend Adventures™: Go Go Green” which can be found in major bookstores and is also available online at: http://jordan.tanille.com.
